About Raine Cruz
Raine Cruz is breaking barriers as a female professional ring announcer for MMA, boxing and pro-wrestling events. She is the winner of the WWE Announcer Contest and the guest ring announcer for World Wrestling Entertainment’s biggest event in 2021, SummerSlam. This made Raine the first Filipino to ring announce at a major pay-per-view in the United States.
 
As the voice of Los Angeles-based mixed martial arts promotion, Up Next Fighting (UNF), Raine introduces “The Future of The Fight Game” inside the cage, announces much-awaited fight decisions and serves as the host of UNF’s live events. 
 
When Raine is not announcing fighters, she is interviewing them on her podcast, The Raine Check. Her guests include fighters from organizations like UFC, UNF and Karate Combat, and her podcast allows them to showcase their personalities and tell the world what they are fighting for. The Raine Check is available on Millions.co, YouTube, Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
 

Outside of combat sports, Raine has worked behind the scenes for live television production for over 15 years. She has been a part of Emmy-award winning shows including Access SportsNet: Lakers and Dodgers, as well as ESPN’s SportsCenter, NBA Countdown and NBA Today.

Aside from being a ring announcer, Raine is also a voiceover artist and a commercial actress. Her voice can be heard on NBA Today’s Halloween show on ESPN, while her commercials include bilingual ads for the money remittance company, Remitly.

Iam also a Dog mom

Raine’s passions extend far beyond the cage and the ring. While not a fighter herself, she uses her voice to fight for the voiceless. As a proud “dog mom” of two rescue dogs, Raine regularly advocates for animals in need. She also uses her platform to support animal rescue and celebrates her birthday by organizing an annual donation drive to help 2nd Chances Rescue where she adopted her two fur-babies.
